Handmade black silver and 18ct gold ring. Inspired by the Japanese kintsugi style of pottery repair. Each piece is made to order. This piece is a flat-sided court approx 2mm wide.
 
This beautiful handmade ring is made from solid sterling silver which we intentionally darken through a process of oxidisation to give it a distinctive and striking black colour. The design features 18ct gold, applied in the kintsugi style to give the ring the appearance of having been fractured and repaired. This ancient technique, which encourages us to embrace imperfection, has become an art style in its own right and inspired us to design a collection of minimalist yet eye-catching jewellery. 
Every piece will be made to order. Following your purchase we will contact you to ask you ring size, and will then be made just for you. This means each piece will be unique (therefore the gold markings will be slightly different to the pictures shown in the listing, but in the same style).
